Senior Engineering Manager

Overview

This is the ideal role for an experienced Engineering Manager looking to develop their career with a fast growing company. The role is permanent and the hours of work will generally be Mon to Fri 8.30am – 5pm but It is important that candidates recognise the need for flexibility and therefore, additional hours or changes to the working pattern will be likely to ensure the needs of the business are maintained.

The role

The successful candidate will show significant visibility within the company, developing new ways of working to improve cost effective ways of working. They will manage a team of skilled engineers and therefore, strong demonstrable experience of managing skilled groups and working rotas which add value and enable the company to operate with minimum disruption are critical factors of this role

Apprentice Technician

Overview

As an Apprentice Technician you will develop a thorough understanding of the design and build of Echo Barriers and our portfolio of products. As an Apprentice Technician you will undertake a programme of study line with the company/brand apprenticeship scheme. As an Apprentice Technician you will receive a guaranteed base salary and a benefits package.

The role

Your day to day responsibilities will include receiving work instructions and ensuring that these are fully carried out, working to company service schedules and quality standards in respect off all work undertaken, investigating reported problems using special tools and diagnostic equipment as necessary, obtaining advice from senior staff as necessary, ensuring that special tools and equipment are kept in good order and that problems are immediately notified for action, developing an understanding of all necessary documentation, checking all orders before they head out of the depot and ensurng that all work undertaken is passed as satisfactory on the completion of each job by a qualified member of staff.

Skills and responsibilities

GCSE Maths will be required for this role. The ideal candidate will be organised, good at time keeping and a team player, and willing to learn. You will be working to deadlines and to maintain our current high levels of client satisfaction.
